This paper is produced at slow speeds for precise control that creates a stronger, premium quality paper with the look, feel and performance of 100% cotton paper but at an affordable price. Our unique Easy-Block method of binding means the pad is glued on the two long edges without any need to stretch or tape the sides of the paper, so it can be used as both a block and a pad. You can easily remove the sheet when finished by simply sliding a palette knife or letter opener in the open side of the paper under the top sheet. Each block contains 15 sheets of 140 lb (300 gsm) white high alpha cellulose paper and is available in either a cold press or hot press finish. The cold press finish has a subtle tooth and is ideal for a variety of wet media techniques. The hot press finish has virtually no tooth and its smooth finish is perfect for artists who prefer precise markings and seamless blending.
